The Teacher Academy, designed to be an in-person training, is now available as a webinar. The program provides an interactive professional development opportunity to prepare and train attendees in Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention, which since 2019 has been part of the Health Curriculum Framework.

Educators

In addition to providing an overview of human trafficking in San Diego County, the Teacher Academy offers teachers the opportunity to earn Graduate Level Extension Credits and provides educators with access to an online student curriculum that is supported by both the California Department of Education and the California Teachers Association.
